Bramble-berry, cigar box jumps from the glass. Nose is berry cobbler but drinks drier. Very nice. One of the best Zins I've had in a while. Will be buying this again, if I can find it. Seghesio is one of my favorite Zin producers. You cannot go wrong with any of their wines, including their Arneis, again, if you can find it.

Big, ripe, jammy, and cedary monster, with loads of smooth tannins. I wish I had more of the Block 8, as this is a fantastic wine.

mixed dark berry and bramble notes, well integrated wood, spice and hints of anise; big dry, not jammy, great zin; heat more prominent on day 2

91 pts. Very nice Zin. Drank the bottle over two nights. Very deep purple, which hung on the glass for a long time. Cherry on the finish.

Fun wine from the young vines at San Lorenzo. I love the way this wine sets up as smooth and earthy but with a nice array of fruit
