  Another very good bottle after a couple of bottles I didn't care for a few years ago. This was rich, ripe, and smooth/silky in an old-Bordeaux way, Great balance, with plum, cassis and earthy flavors. Did not have the sharp acidity of a bottle just a week ago.

  I did not like my first bottle about five years ago - it was thin, tight and lean - so I put the remaining bottles out of the way in the cellar and just noticed them again. Showing some age in the tea-colored meniscus, but doesn't taste old. Big nose of ripe, dark fruit and earth. Same flavors on the palate with a medium-full body and a lush, smooth texture. At the same time, it still has some sharp acidity remaining which made it a bit odd with all the ripe, rich fruit.

  Quite nice, better than I expected based on online reviews. Firm chewy tannins on opening, softened over several hours. nice balance and dark fruit with a soft mouthfeel and long finish. Kept getting better as it opened up over 3 hours, unfortunately it was consumed before I could appreciate further development. This is drinking very well now but still has some life in it. Great value
