Burghound

Rockss and Fruit

(Colin-Deleger Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Vergers") I opened this with trepidation a couple weeks ago due to white burgundy oxidation chatter picking up in feverish intensity. My fears were wiped away with the glorious nose though. Lime zest, peppermint, tropical fruits, minerals on this everchanging nose. Really great breadth to the nose. Palate was just beautiful. Fat and round but with brilliant acidity and a stone lickin' finish. Incredibly pure with an amazing texture. Great wine. I really love it when white burgundy gets this good.
