Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Popped and poured. Medium garnet hue, small amount of bricking. Intriguing aromas of candied red fruits and a sweet smoke note (reminiscent of roasted sweet corn). Medium body. While the nose seemingly indicated this might still be alive, flavors on the palate were of stewed fruits...pretty much dead. Revisiting after 3 hours aeration, the wine showed no improvement. Interesting to taste, nonetheless.
