Mid gold with green. Restrained nose, some slight petrol and floral notes. Medium bodied. Plenty of freshness and acidity. Lighter than most Alsace ones. Lime. Intriguing, not over powering. Decent length. Very good but not outstanding at present.

Mid straw. Riesling nose at the more delicate end of the spectrum: fresh, mineraly and ever so slightly floral. Nice minerality combined with a weight and sense of richness that reflects its ripeness I think rather than any sweetness. Finishes a little short initially but by the second day this has rounded and put on more weight and length to the finish. On day one this is very Austrian with the slight lightness of finish I tend to get on Austrian Riesling. By day two it's fatter and more alsacian in profile. Either way it's good. Not a long distance prospect though, so enjoy now. ***1/2

Very clean light golden green. Slatey minerality yet with a touch of honeyed fullness. Unmistakably Riesling but more Alsace than Germany - just Austrian in fact. Very good length and clean fresh finish. Look forward to the rest very much.

Dunkles Goldgelb. Toller Duft nach Steinobst und Honig. Am Gaumen voll, recht viel Restsüße, mineralische Anklänge, Honig, Steinobst, langer Abgang. Ausgezeichneter, typischer Riesling. War sehr gut zum Hecht. 50+5+14+16+6

Kamptal-Verkostung (Kamptal, Niederösterreich, Austria): Sauberer, klarer Rieslingduft, Marillen, würzig hinterlegt. Am Gaumen kräftige Säure, sehr fruchtig, leicht würziger Abgang.
