Now that I know it is french, will use two indicators to blind taste in future -- 1) lack of any sweetness, just tart yellow grapefruit (typically if i have a sweet craving, a NZ sb satisfies this) 2) I should have focused on the minerals . will need to taste side by side, yet do not think a nz sb has the same minerality pair with: luncheon salads, white fleshed fish, brunch dishes, as an aperatif, great with ultra fresh seafood (crab, lobster, scallops) especially in a platter for dinner

Very nice. On the softer, fruity end of the Sauvigon Blanc spectrum. Grapefruit, minerals, and some white fruit. Very good, and excellent QPR. The label says this is made and bottled by Domaine Ricard, so "Domaine de la Potine" is likely a vineyard designation.

This $12 wine is biodynamic. I loved it as a floral, refreshing drink with a summer supper of scalllops, vichyssioise, and sliced tomatoes. Highly recommended at this price.

Club Tasting 1: Wines from around the world (Blind) (Butler College, Princeton University): This one I nailed.
Light straw in the glass.
Nose of grass and grapefruit, with some lemony fruit.
In the mouth, candied jalapenos, more grass, high- acid, lemon, nice and clean on the finish.
