  • Didn't blow my head off, but for a 13 year old Oregon Pinot from a bad vintage, this is really a remarkable wine. All other '97's I've had from Oregon were terrible, and they were all from first class producers. This wine had no bricking, delicate black cherry and cassis with high vanilla tones. It was clean and pure. I have two more in the cellar and plan on indulging the next year or so. This is a fantastic wine fir the locale and vintage.
