Rather low key at this time, good acid and some vienous characters, but it has lost most of the spice and complexity it had. Still very pleasant and went well tonite's soup on a rainy night.

fresh berries and dried flowers on the nose, medium-bodied, well-endowed with acid, good sense of soil, red cherries, flower, smoke, and red berries, shows pleasant youthful flavors, but should evolve in the cellar for some time more, this would be lovely with prime rib

It took years for this wine to lose its hard edge. Still has good acid and structure. Flavor of cranberry and cherry. Very nice. Only one bottle left.
