Powerful & interesting blend of Syrah, Merlot, Carmenere,Mourvèdre, Carbanet Sauvignon & Malbec. Black fruits core, cinnamon, cedar wood, blueberries. Intense, maple syrupy smokiness, sharp & spicy palate . Softened tannins, very approachable. Long legs & very nice .

My last notes seem accurate - time is indeed not a friend to this. Like some other oaked Chilean wines this is becoming roasted. Wife enjoys remaining bottles as mid-week pop and pour but for me too much unintegrated dusty wood tannin, roasted prune and high (unintegrated) alcohol. Drink up. 87pts

My last notes still stand, but time will not be a friend to this wine - drink up. With air the tanins become dusty/dry and the unintegrated wood tanins really show. Not enough phenolic ripeness here to age or ever approach balance. Acidity shows too much with air as well (together with lots of roasted prune). Length has increased, but little complexity or mouthfeel, and a fair bit of heat (doubt this is only 14.5% alcohol claimed on label). Pop and pour all remaining bottles during this year as a mid-week quaffer. To my taste, other CT reviews are over-rating this wine at '90pts'. Given the clumsy winemaking my revised 87pts is already generous!

Solid wine with nice combination of oak and fruit. Not big on the body and a bit short on the aftertaste. Drink now
