Full, very mature nose. Some elegance. Integrated oak now appearing as walnuts, hazelnuts and honey. Fat butterscotch. Quite complex. Better nose than palate. Full, fat, mature with oily dried fruit. Honey, liquorice, butterscotch and roasted nuts. Rather complex but lacks intensity and grip. Mature and tasty, but also on the verge of oxidative... Fun experience to taste a mature New World oaky Chardonnay. Drank better 2-3 years ago.

I had bigger expectations. The nose was lovely, fine fruit (pears, honey...) with creamy vanilla and oak. It's deep. The taste is not as good... The finish is worst acutally. Too OAKY and warm! I can't really place this wine but it's smooth and big. Overall a big wine with a lovely nose but I wouldn't buy it again... It got me thinking of a glass Jameson. Hard to rate but I don't like it. I can't give it more than 80-81 p.

Light toward medium straw color with a brilliant reflection, and a rich nose of butterscotch, baked apples, persimmon and light spice. The palate was a bit sweet for my taste, but nonetheless showed purity of fruit, was well integrated and offered up good acidity. The malo too, was a bit heavy for my palate, but guests enjoyed it very much with the braised chicken in Meyer lemon sauce with garlic and herbs (thank you, Williams-Sonoma!). Drink thru 2013.

(Fort Ross Vineyard Chardonnay Estate) This Burgundian-style Chardonnay features bitter peach and enticing creamy marzipan notes that float effortlessly on the attack, followed by strong elements of lime peel, ripe green pear, and yellow-skinned apple. Terroir: Fort Ross Vineyard

Not enjoyable. It came across as heavy on the oak and butter. Alcoholic on the nose and palate. The first bottle was no better.
