Light goldenyellow. Some "lie" floating in th glass. Nose offers quince, honey, peach & apricot and a slight botrytis scent. Fresh start, full ripe fruity body followed by a finish that is just a bit too sticky.

Opened around an hour before serving. Pale gold. Nose was a bit restrained, but opened up as the wine warmed. Baked apples, stone fruit and orange marmalade. What really blew my mind was the lightness this showed while still displaying the sweet characteristics one expects from cdl. Plenty of acidity keeps the apricots, pluots and granny smiths from cloying too much and allows you to grasp a hint of herbal notes before the long, lemony finish.
This is the entry level wine, can't wait to seek out other offerings from this producer. Paired with Epoisses and Grayson cheeses. Was the perfect foil for the austerity offered by both of those. Do not try to pair with the rind with this wine.

Honey and apple. Rich depth of flavor. Open and refrigerated for 6 months but still luscious.

Straw yellow
Stone fruit on the nose
Thin to medium body with decent balance
Thin aftertaste with a touch of dried apricot
For wine in the sweet category this wine appears thin and short
