Decanted for 3 hours. A fine oakey nose not over powered by alcohol, fairly smooth in taste, light tannins with a medium finish. light in colour close to brick. was a better wine a few years back.

Good – clear mid garnet appearance; fruity nose – red fruits; off-dry; mid acidity; medium body; low to mid tannins; mid length finish; good fruit; red fruits – cherries; nice acidity; medium body but lacked a bit of structure; bit of a sour cherries finish – very pleasant. Had with Roast Duck Breasts with Plum, Red Wine and Port Sauce.

Good fruit. I enjoyed this wine and thought it was very tasty. However, it does lack the depth, earthiness, acidity and tannic structure compared to most good Barolos. Also a little bit lighter bodied than most barolos, as noted by others. Did not score officially but my guess is that it is somewhere around 87-89. Overall, very good but not great.

- Garnet color and aromas of eucalyptus and cherry. It's balanced and has flavours of eucalyptus, rose, black currant and cherry with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - This was a real pleasant surprise and wished I would have purchased more if this. Great value for price!
