  • Quite an enjoyable Barbaresco, particularly for the price. This is drinking surprisingly well at the moment. Typical Nebbiolo notes, I found this had both hints of old world and new world, which made it fun to drink.

  • Drank this bottle with friends tonight. My usual drinking buddies itf it has to be drunk with class.
Wine is garnet red with bick reflects, little deposit, nothing that needs to be decanted. Nose of tar, strawberry jam, licorish and little oak.
Crisp acidity and tannic, but both bring an equilibrium to the wine. Wood and fruit in the mouth. Long finish.
The Parmigiano and pine nut chips were excellent with this wine.
i had a Ghemme last week and found it a bit more complex than this Barbaresco, but this wine is pleasant and 'ill buy more bottles.
