  • Just like last time -- maybe even better. Great nose. Good fruit --cherry, raspberry, earth & some vanilla, too.
We had it with a roast pork tenderloin in a spice rub (paprika, cumin, sage, oregano, garlic, mustard, pepper, salt): a perfect match.
Too bad that was our last bottle ... :(

  • What a beautiful wine! It is so much better now, than in 2006, after having put on a couple of years of age. Beautiful nose. Lovely fruit flavors--cherries, some raspberry, earth and a touch of vanilla on the end. Complex and beautiful. Even better with our seared tuna, which enhanced the earth notes. This was a great buy ... particularly for our $21 purchase price. Looking forward to our 1 remaining bottle.

  • Cherries, raspberries, and tobacco on the nose. Earthy cherry flavor with vanilla and good acidity Plum, licorice, and black cherries on the finish. Sweet tannins. Very nice PN. 92+.

  • I loved this wine again. It was like an old aged burgundy. I wish I had a case. Upon the first sip I tought it had started to die off but then it came from no where to become deep complex and nuanced. Great job. It is a light ruby with just a tinge of brown. Very translucent. Cola, cherries and red raspberries to taste. These are the only bottles of Campion I have ever tasted but will pick them up along the way if I can find them for a good price. I wish I knew what the clones were because it is definitely my style. I get the same from the Stoller PN.

  • Had at 11-person Tara/Donna dinner. Good but my palate was fatigued. Had with seared tuna with crispy wonton wrappers with wasabi cream, struggled with this pairing but it worked out ok.
