This modifies my original tasting note from exactly 1 yr ago. This wine is fair to good. Somewhat flat on the taste, so unlike their St. Joseph. Decanted for an hour....not sure if this was enough or if the fruit is not there. Unlike the first bottle, this one is clear, but still unusually dry, and flat....that's to say a wine with a single dimension and lacking fruit. Wait another year to try the next bottle

This whole bottle seemed cloudy, from top to bottom. The flavor was "dirty" like the wine was entirely from the dregs of the batch. I had another bottle earlier of the Durand St Joseph and it was corked. This did not smell like a corked bottle, but rather had an unclean taste void of fruit, flat.
