Going a bit on memory, as I had quite a bit to drink as I decided to turn this into a 39th b-day celebration and open a 1970. Still, this had a beautifully perfumed nose, and this PS was very good on the palate as well. Still had some nice plum and blackberry flavors, along with some secondary notes. If I had any doubts whether this wine was still in good shape, they were quickly erased!

The shocker of the tasting. Licorice and spearmint join deep black fruit in a very good wine. It still has a good bit of time left in it, and is drinking great now.
