Fantastic! Had it with some Fred's steak and it rocked. Tannins have mellowed, long finish, some pepper and another spice I couldn't put my finger on. Should be good for a few more years.

Big, ripe, oak, full-on. Went great with roast pork. The vineyard character shows through. The oak has integrated and just a slight awkwardness in the tannin structure remains. Will not rush to finish the rest of the case as this wine will be a treat for another decade.

Still focused Syrah. No flab, clean tasting and a little tight on PnP. Opened up after the first half hour. Excellent!

Bought 2005-2008 (prob.14 total). 10 left. Decanted for an hour. Just beautiful. Still bigger, but no hard edges. Complex with nothing dominating. Still has 5 plus years. Best rattlesnake yet!
