This Sangiovese offering from the Cecchi and Bonizio family is a fair to good table wine but it is a table wine at best and if you keep your expectations modest, you will be rewarded with a good, drinkable bottle that will complement tomato based sauces. I have a soft spot for Sangiovese after spending a month in Tuscany in 2007. This wine will not be mistaken for some of the fine wines we experienced during that stay.

A very basic and good wine for pizza at a very reasonable price.

Extremely good value for the price. Dry, dark, but slightly acidic. Not very deep, but come on, look at the price.
