  3ème dégustation de ce beau Médoc (en 2008-2015-2017).
  Sa belle robe, presque noire, est restée encore juvénile (reflets roses sur le disque), dense avec de belles jambes sur les parois du verre, le nez est très fruité (confiture de cassis), malheureusement très légèrement bouchonné et la bouche montre une belle richesse et des tannins savoureux, présents mais aboutis. Un grand vin qui approche de son apogée.

  A Cussac Fort-Médoc se trouvent de bons crus bourgeois qui mériteraient d'être classés. Celui-ci, dégusté en décembre 2015 présentait une robe dense, encore juvénile, au disque vineux, à peine cuivré, un nez confituré (framboise), encore sur la réserve, une bouche concentrée, aussi sur la réserve, riche, sans acidité, finissant sur de bons tannins encore présents. Un beau vin, presque parvenu à son apogée, dans sa plénitude, bien vinifié.

  Decanted and served right away. Pale rubis color with orange reflections. Aromas of tobacco, leafs, and earth. Similar notes in the mouth. Not so much fruit left, but the tannins are smooth. Fun to drink even if it was probably past its peak.

  Very dark red and still purple. In the bouquet fresh cassis and oak. On the palate very full bodied, creamy cassis and other dark berries and a firm dose of vanilla from the oak. Concentrated and juicy wine, in this stage lacking some finesse, but is definitely very juicy.
