  • Ruby red, medium bodied. This was extremely floral on the nose, a good dose of minerals and cherries, and a certain funkiness i couldn't put my finger on. Flavors followed through on the palate, especially the mineral/earth/mushroom. Medium bodied, fairly high acid, smooth tannins, and a bit thin. Overall an enjoyable, simple wine.

  • Dark red with a ruby rim. Strong nose of cherry, with some oak evident before the wine had time to breathe. Powerful flavor of cherry, currant, some blackberry, a touch of high-mineral earth, tasty. Medium-bodied, but well-balanced, with high acidity. Long finish.

Good wine for gourmet spaghetti, for when Chianti won't do.
