As I write this note, I see I bought this 7 years ago to the day. It has evolved into a lovely wine and is in no present danger of decay. Orchard fruits, good acidity, and some barrel (?) spice paired lovely with chicken and dumplings. I would not confuse it for Burgundy, but a Cali style chard that is not over the top. If scoring, B+ for me.

92 pts

Traci and I brought this. Perfect serving temperature this is a pretty good ringer for a white Burgundy. Roasted almond/hazelnut, meyer lemon and baked apples. Nice acidity and a little bit of minerality creeping in. What keeps this from getting into the 90's is a rather clipped finish. If the finish fills out I might rate this a couple points higher.
