This wine has a nose of red clay, dried cherries, white pepper, raspberries, and leather. The tannins are pronounced and very well integrated. The finish is extremely smooth and this bottle is drinking very, very well at this juncture. It is even better than last time -- unfortunately, I have no more of this vintage in inventory. Great job Kristi Seitz!

Showed heat and VA. Some ripe fruit, not much. Enough acidity that it was not flat. Tannins just about resolved. Not heat damaged. Much the same the next day. I think it must have below the detectable threshold TCA. That's the only thing that can explain the lack of fruit and balance.

Would have hoped for improvement with age. Still has bitter tones and is a bit tight years later

Nose of raspberries, white pepper, and dried cherries. The tannins are medium, yet well integrated - very good!
