Note: tasted along with Nora da Neve 2007 on a tasting event. This wine showed us how important is a good matching between food and drink. It´s spicy finish paired extraordinarily with a baked prawn dish with olive-garlic-papaya sauce, increasing that spiciness to a higher level. Previously the wine seduced us with an superb nose and palate (butter, exotic fruits, greasiness, spiciness, complexity and excellent structure).

Not a formal tasting note but I wanted to share the moment because I've enjoyed it. My prior experience with aged verdejos was a Jose Pariente, and this, for now, has left his very own sign. I understand that tasting / drinking at a dinner party is not ideal, so here it is what I liked: in addition to a nose of toasted aromas, it's the mouth taste. That's where I've felt, for my taste, the difference: body, complexity and length. Excellent.
Restaurant Price € 30. I liked this. A lot. Certainly not an everyday drinker.. but why? I do not understand why we have to go this high to have these feelings with spanish whites.
FWIW, I almost finished the bottle by myself ... it was good sign! and hey, good enough to pair with an Argentine steak.

Da uve verdejo. Giallo paglierino. Naso di frutta bianca. Di corpo, leggera tostatura, finale lungo. Migliorereà sicuramente, un peccato aver bevuto ora l'unica bottiglia.
