Wines @ Salil's (Vernon, CT): A piercing wine with riveting electricity. The flavors start as tropical and honied, but this is not heavy; actually comes across very clean and bright, as a good eiswein should. Sparkling lip-smacking finish.

Fantastic Eiswein. Really pure, fresh Meyer lemon and tropical fruited flavours at the core tinged by honey and high toned spicy notes, and conveyed with remarkable lightness and elegance for such an intensely sweet and concentrated wine. There's powerful acidity beneath that keeps it very light on its feet, and it finishes very long.

I served this in my wine course. A bit disappointing since acids still seem a bit disjointed. Probably needs some age to come together. Strength at this time is in the finish rather than the nose.

Impressively light and fresh, pear, peach and other tropical fruit notes. Very high acidity. Still feels super youthful. Delicious.
