Big Steaks and Big Reds (Arlington, VA): light lemon color. really bright nose of lemon zest, white flowers and sea shells. on the palate, this is spicy, but balanced with the creaminess from the lees. got some lemon, seashells and an underlying flavor of onion grass. went very well with shrimp cocktails, especially considering the cocktail sauce was heavy with horseradish.

Steak Night @ Ian's; 7/8/2010-7/9/2010 (Alexandria, VA): Light color with a nose of meyer lemons and white flowers. There was a brisk frizzante at play here that, over time, settled down. Didn't mature much over the course of a couple hours. A nice sipping wine.
