Paulee vertical tasting....drank side by side with the 10, both were very compelling with lots of spicy notes and dark red fruit....each has that signature LB energy that is so fascinating. I think LB did a great job in this vintage

Spago: The only one of the bunch that didn't live up to the 2006's. Sour cherry, forest floor, and a touch of moss/ferns. Nice for sure, but a green/herbal note was a little distracting. Fine tannins, medium body.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting, in 11/09/07 vertical, all from magnum. Broad array of ripe red fruit with baking spice and earth hints. Very good now.

The Verticals Tasting at 2020 La Paulée de New York (Eventi Hotel, New York): Magnum. Light color. Some subtle green tones but not overwhelming. Light red fruit, spice, and well honed acidity. Not a big wine at all, but a notably excellent 2007.

Tasted at Gabriel Kreuther restaurant in NYC. With sweatbread course. Deep red fruit taste with restrained oak. Excellent balance. Tasted from magnum.
