Not much experience with Hunter Valley Semillon, but this lived up to the hype of what an aged one can achieve. Rich, buttery, honeyed flavors hanging on a bright, acidic frame of citrus and lemongrass. Explodes unexpectedly in the mouth. Everything well integrated and balanced. Should pair well with food. My sense is this particular wine is peaking and won't last too much longer.

Toast, lime and butter. The palate is medium body but lacks interest.
