Brickish red. Still some fruit of cherry compote, hot dogs and green olives. somewhat balsamic quality as well. There is a varietal correctness of the nose and the palate, but its a bit shallow and shows a little bitterness today as the fruit has dropped.

Pacific Rim wines (Kenny's Wood Fired Grill, Dallas, Texas): Somewhat muted fruit flavors of red raspberries and cherries on the nose, with a bit of a floral characteristic. This was followed by flavors of red and black cherries with a hint of green bean and smooth tannins on the finish. After about 1.5 hours in glass, the wine opened up more, and the aromas of deep red cherry became ever more distinct--this raised my overall impression of the wine. 86-90

Past prime. Fading. Memory of fruit.

A distracting herbal taste upon opening. Moderated quite a bit one hour after opening but not enough for our tastes.

Starting to brick. Limited nose. Little bit of barnyard funk.
Taste overly tannic, with little fruit. Funk continues on the palate.
