At Chez Bruce. Decanted 10 minutes, not particularly cold. Well chosen treatment by somm as this wine is rather tight, citric and stony. With some time, it began to display some orchard fruit, even peach and took on a slight viscosity, less lean. Steely character that was refreshing and highlighted the appetizers as well as several cheeses later in the meal as it aired and warmed, gaining some depth and complexity but holding its acidity.

Unremarkable......and tainted (but not "tainted" meaning flawed) by the smell and taste of cheap cork that really set the tone for the whole experience of little care that seems to have been put into this entry-level but not inexpensive wine. Terrible when compared to what a producer such as Leflaive can do with their entry level Villages wines, even from Macon-Verze rather than Puligny Montrachet.

Very good, but remember this is an "ordinary" Puligny villages. So it lacks a little length and definition. Nevertheless nice to drink now. But no hurry, the acidity promises a further drinking for at least 2-3 years.

bottle varied from last night's. Slightly fading flavors and acidity.

Great bouquet and flavors of pineapple, citrus, minerals. Elegant, great acidity and mouth feel.
