Very enjoyable with a wide selection of sushi - honeyed lemon and mineral - very good, but way more enoyable with food than without. Would absolutely buy again.

A good but not great bottle of chablis. Surprisingly accessible at this stage. Actually doesn't appear that it will improve that much though we will see. Wonderful breezy nose of citrus and stone with some slight maderized notes of caramel. Very round flavors with a particularly juicy mid-palate. Mirabelle, iodide, chalk. The only quibble is that the finish is a little clipped. We'll see if it adds some compexity or if this is it. A nice bottle of chablis but it didn't rock my world as a 93 Meadows score would have lead me to believe it would.

Not giving much on the nose, started off pretty tight and closed. There was a lot more going on with the palate, mainly slate, rainwater, very mineral-driven, with crisp apple and citrus notes, especially on the finish. Great texture and depth, but sort of tight. Perhaps some time in the bottle will bring it around, plenty of structure to work with.

Nose of sweet and ripe chardonnay fruit. Light very pale gold color, almost like a sauvignon blanc. Good acidic backbone, but not as much ripeness or fruit as the Fevre Vallions. medium-light body and a medium-long finish. Quite nice, but not remarkable.

Seemingly intact bottle, but totally oxidized.
