  PnP. Color is a deep, translucent red. Aromas of smoke, dark cherry, cranberry and dirt. On the palate darker fruit, herbs, smoke, mushroom, dirt and perhaps a touch of effervescence. The wine is smooth with medium- body, light+ well-integrated tannin. With dinner of Chicken Cordon Bleu, Thai shrimp dumplings and steamed broccoli with lemon the wine comes across as light with smoke, fruit, somewhat acidic, very little tannin and a touch of black pepper. Although perhaps past its prime, this is light and quite good with more secondary notes creeping in.
