Like Michael_D in his review of 11/15/20, I too thought this was a great wine shortly after it's release so I held it back just to see how it would age. It is still fresh and fantastic! My bottle showed no signs of being past its prime. I have one more left and I hope it is as good!

I have been sitting on this bottle as an experiment. Traditional thought is that Cali Pinots need to be drank within 5-7 years. I do not buy that, and this bottle backs up that notion.
Color - dark ruby red. No hint of amber found with "old" reds. Nose - Did not have to hunt for smell. No cherry notes at all. Graphite, mineral, raspberry and other dark berries. Smell blind and "Pinot" would not come to mind. Body - Medium. Smooth tannin, some acid left. Finish - Long.
This bottle could have cellared at least another 3 years. I wish I had more.

When I opened it i didn't much care for it. 14-15% ABV. But I chilled it to about 60F, and it was dramatically transformed. A big PN with luscious black cherries and other stone fruits.

2nd bottle, Rich ripe fruit still there (blackberries, cherries) and cedar. A big-styled wine.
