Drank from Bin North 6. Dinner with Aline in Wildflower Zion Resort day#1. Hint of spice and blackberry on nose. Deep dark purple. Soft even body of blackberry, plum and licorice. Lovely aged wine. 8.5/10. Exceptional the next day as well.

Locked out of the house but was able to get into the garage. Luckily, I found a glass and the one bottle in my wine fridge with a screw top to help me pass the time. Still going strong. Drank well on day two as well.

Wow, no wonder this got such a huge score when it was released. Still firing on all cylinders, tons of fruit and silky smooth. Wish I had more as this still has tons of life left, my guess is 8-10 years. Easily the best bang for the buck wine I have ever tasted.

Atypical for this wine...somewhat closed down, not as peppery/funky as before. Seemed much more like the 2008. Blackberry fruit, mocha finish. Really wanted more of that black pepper though!

(Rulo Syrah Columbia Valley) A moderately aromatic wine with pure aromas of blackberry, raspberries, Dimetapp, dark chocolate, mineral notes, and herbs. The palate is incredibly, incredibly dense with rich fruit flavors, almost to the point of being impenetrable. Coats the palate while still remaining light on its feet. Only gets better with more time to breath. Give 1-2 years or decant extensively. 14.5% alcohol.
