Friend brought this for dinner at Imperial Treasure, Great World City.
We paired this with sour and spicy soup, pan fried bean curd with mushrooms, sliced fish with asparagus, stirred fried vegetables roasted pork and roasted duck.
Wine had an aromatic nose that is typically Tuscany. Notes of sour cherry, elder flowers and cassis on the palate.
Overall this is a very food friendly wine. Very decent quality for its price.

Decent quaffer with pizza. As others have noted, fairly balanced with some good earthiness to it. For the price point, there are better Italian blends out there.

Pale; compressed aromatics, but something of interest lurking; soft, earthy, pinched, better with food. Rather hard work, fades in glass. Yet has character despite a lack of charm. Drink soon before fruit dries out completely.

A load of earth and minerals on the palate, not much going on in the nose or in the way of fruit. Just ok for me especially on its own after dinner, but paired pretty well with spaghetti and meatballs. Perhaps this just wasn't what I was looking for tonight.
