Full bodied and quite oxidised with plenty of citrus, mandarin peel, biscuit, yeast and hazelnuts on both nose and palate. However, the flavour profiles felt muted, closed even despite given time to blossom in both glass and bottle. Unsure if this is typical of this house's style. Nice but unfortunately was outshone by the night's other bubbly (NV Jacques Selosse Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Substance)
