initially closed and tight but decanted for a couple of hours and served with roast lamb - very good indeed - quite fragrant and drinking very nicely - glad we opened this before it got over the top

Past prime. Itll open up in bottle after an hour with air then give you a glimpse of what it was for about an hour then go downhill afterwards.

Definitely old world. Garrigue on nose and palate. Nice fruit. A little thin, but good complexity. Not in the same league as the beautiful 1998.
