  • Completely agree with Eugene note. A well made Chablis that is now perfectly aged, taking on additional complexity of hazelnut and ever-so-slight notes of diesel in addition to warm bread, pear, yellow delicious apple, crushed seashells and flowers. Really lovely. Softened and some creaminess, but acidity still largely intact. Excellent length. Outstanding pairing with mixed platter of oysters on half shell at newly opened restaurant Fin. Sadly this was our last bottle. If I had another I'd drink in 1-2 years to see where it's at.

  • A Kermit Lynch selection.
This is a really great bottle of Chablis. Golden yellow collor with enticing nose of brioche, citrus, white flowers and pear. Great mouthfeel, creamy, coating the entire palate.
Initial flavors of hazelnut and baked goods dissipate as time goes by giving place to a citrus, apple, gooseberry, crushed sea shells, stones and other flavors. Great acidity and overall balance.
Went went with smoked salmon and avocado with tomatoes salad.

  • Vinturi aerate to decanter and chilled outdoors for a couple hours before serving. Medium density yellow in the glass, with a nice shimmer, medium body. Nose is nicely open, with lemons and lemon peel, sea spray, minerals, and almond skin. Loosened a bit as it warmed over the next three hours, with intense flavors of lemon, tangerine, anjou pear, and minerals. Long clean finish with fading citrus, oyster shell, slight diesel, nut oil, and minerals. On its own the acid level may be a little much, but outstanding when paired with Joe's stone crabs and mustard sauce. I think this will gain some nice complexity with 3-4 years age.

  • light golden color. aromas of lemon peel, mineral, with a hint of pear. medium weight in the mouth with good acid. definitely clean on the palate with flavors of apple, stone, and hazelnut. a good quality Chablis, but a little overpriced in my opinion.

  • decent sea shell mineral smell, with a nice lemon, oyster shell, and mineral finish. Not bad but lacks some density and roundness on taste.
