Third Zoom tasting – Blind Bordeaux (Mi Casa): Bright golden color. I splash decant and hope it will open up. Although interesting, it never gets fresh and remains dull. Not sure if this is a correct bottle.

Had two bottles last night with friends on the terrace accompanying Stone Crab claws from Joe's on Miami Beach. Everything that was said about this wine in 2009 is still spot on. Fantastic lightness and honeysuckle nectar nose and taste.

Medium yellow, definitely light for its age. Indescribable mixture of hazelnut, honeysuckle, and citrus notes. Incredibly fresh. Some maderized aromas are present at first but dissipate and then remain very much in the background as the bottle was drunk. Great equipoise between waxy weight and a real sense of delicacy-not oily as these wines can sometimes be. Excellent acidity for a white Rhone. Pretty extraordinary wine, drinking like a top flight Grand Cru white Burgundy and easily outpacing the majority of (the relatively small number of) aged white Hermitages I've tasted.
