While the color on this looks okay, the flavors are somewhat of premox. A bit of butterscotch and sherry in there with the lemony acidity. This was very nice a couple of years ago, but apparently never a wine that was built to last.

Pure lemon-lime fruit and lots of acidity, but seemed to be missing a mineral depth and not quite ready for prime time. Nice but not enough to reach 90 IMO.

Wickedly good wine. Paired with king crab legs, a light vegetable salad, this wine was just excellent, if painfully young.
At first the oak seemed quite noticeable, but with some time it seemed much more integrated. The most dominant feature was a firm rush of minerality, coming off almost as salty. There is tremendous complexity in this wine, much exceeding my expectations. I think that this wine should drink well for several years, and I would expect it to improve over the next three or so, but I won't lie, it is really quite excellent now.

I didn't like this bottle as much as my previous note implies, but I did find it to be bursting with chalky chardonnay character.

No oak ? smells of cider, quince, peach, pistachio extract and narcissus. High acidity fruits. Great value of money !
