  • It's phenomenal how this wine has aged. In a really good spot right now. As usual for Brocard, the fruit is very pure. This is approaching maturity with aromatics and flavors of citronella, cream and salty ocean. Smooth and light on its feet. A treat. Opened for Nicolai's confirmation celebration.

  • From magnum. From the time when there was no use of oak whatsoever chez Brocard. A beauty. Very pure in its expression - like a mix of squeezed lemon juice, salt and sea shells. Is showing a bit of green fruit and melon as well. This wine is more elegant and refined than the Defaix, it is fresher with a pleasing acidity. It doesn't feel like this is going anywhere in the next few years. Great wine. With Jim's salmon burgers.
