Consistent with previous bottle. Opened and sat in the bottle for 2 hours. Nose of oak and earth. Definite New Mexico terroir. Black cherry, dry, smooth, medium finish. Went nicely with spicy Mexican chicken, orzo, and quesadilla.

Typical New Mexico earthy taste. Mostly front of the palate with short finish. Wouldn't pick this out as a cabernet sauvignon, but it is fun to try the different ways a varietal develops (and is manipulated) across the country.
