  Pale yellow, wonderful flavour with mix of lemons, grapefruit and apples initially as well as apricot and pineapple. Nice acidity, not too dry (can't really detect any sweetness). Good length. Great to drink now.

  Crystalline light yellow. In the first five minutes after opening the bottle, the wine has a superb sponti nose with brownish notes (gingerbread) that unfortunately quickly goes away. A slight brown touch stays though (brown sugar). Apart from that, the nose is very cool and fresh with a little mint and lemon balm, freshly squeezed lemon juice and mirabelle. On the palate, there is a razor sharp minerality, a tight acidity and a long and slightly sour finish with again some lemon balm and salt. Great wine with still some potential.

  Limited minerality compared with some of the Bockenauer S+F wines, but a good one none the less. Nose subdued, lots of fruit on the palate (lime, grapefruit, apricot). Pretty good length and great value.

  Ingetogen mineraliteit. Subtiel kruidig, hint van abrikozen. Verfijnde smaak met subtiel zoetje en mooie balans tussen zoet, zuur en alcohol. Soepel en prettig drinkbaar, geel appeltje. Veel lengte.

  My TN for the Felsenberg was: "Beautiful expressive and pure bouquet with soft citrus, apples and minerals. Same on the palate. Tropical flavors like apricots. Pear. Good concentration, harmonious and a beautiful balance. Long finish. Great qpr!" This Monzinger Frühlingsplätzchen is a little bit sparkling in the start and for the rest comparable with the Felsenberg, except that it is a little bit more full bodied and more spicy. Overall however it is a little bit less exiting.
