Interesting attack - all acid and fruit at the tip of the tongue, but it does not develop into anything more interesting. Still, while it lacks in complexity and has a short finish, it doesn't deliver any of the odd flavors that you frequently get at this price point. Not bad QPR.

Presented garnet red. This wine starts with an inviting tart fruity aroma. Very tight for the first 30 min or so then opened up nicely with flavors of prunes, and pepper and smoking oak. Interesting and enjoyable tannins and seemed to be well balanced. Finish was pleasant yet short. I scored this at 88. With a retail price point of under $10, I recommend this wine

For the price it's a pretty good wine. A lot of fruit and a hint of smoke. Some tannins at finish provide a good finish. A little sweet for my taste.
