Other comments about this wine’s demise are greatly exaggerated. Paired with ‘back to work post winter break’ dinner of grilled ribeye and bakers (no room on plate for veggies...). Delicious out of the gate with strong bouquet of ripe red raspberries. Taste matched nose, with remarkable tannin/fruit balance. Glad we have two more bottles to enjoy - the last of the case.

Full-bodied, fruit forward, a touch on the porty side perhaps, as this has massive extraction. Very tasty however, especially compared to the '12 H3 Cab we dumped out.
Cassis, cherry, tobacco and a bit of earthiness. This is probably at peak right now, so I'd drink up within the next year or two.

Oak seems to have calmed down since last time I had it but believe this vintage should be consumed soon.

Your typical WA Cabernet. Has some good fruit but needs some time to open up. Get a steak and open this up.
