Dark red/purple color. Plummy on the nose and palate with dark cherry in the background. Structurally, there is a tannic edge to this wine and decent acidity. Overall, it is pure and simple with enough structure to last a couple more years, but I don't know whether the fruit will outlive the structure.

Solid wine. Like many anthill syrahs, I would probably not peg this as syrah blind. Lots of floral notes so maybe a nebbiolo if anything. Still has decent fruit, tannins resolved, medium acidity- enough for food, but also not too much that it needs food.

Purple center with a violet rim. Straightforward nose of dark fruit - plum and dark cherry. Plum and cherry with a touch of plum skin bitterness, floral notes, and white pepper on the finish. There is quite a bit of tannin in this medium-bodied wine, but food rounded the tannins quite well. Overall, this is a solid pizza wine and a good value.

Garnet center with pink rim. The nose is primary with plums and cherry sweet tart. On the palate, there tart plum, cherry, minerals, and spice. Structurally, there is ample tannin in this medium-bodied wine as well as balanced acidity. The finish is moderate and seems shortened by the tannins. Overall, this is a wine that is not terribly distinctive but is enjoyable with leftovers.

Not really interesting, a bit sharp and tangy. I don't think its going to get better.
