Not much happening here. some subtle pear and maybe green pepper. a little creamy/buttery on finish. better with food. wouldn't buy of my own volition.

Not as crisp and high acid as I would have thought. A much more rounded body. With what feels like to be RS. Maybe the American market likes / needs this thing. Not bad with Pizza Shuttle white vegetarian Pizza Bill asks me to note.

2004 Produttori de Barbaresco Tasting (Zupan's, Portland, OR): Lemons, limes and pears on the nose. The wine is light and clean with nice citrus on the sides of the palate. There's a nice hint of green apple on the front as well with some decent acidity. I do like more acidity out of a grigio though, and the finish is a bit short.

Pale yellow. Nose of fresh citrus like the oils from the lemon rind. A bit of green apple too. Very tart and refreshing. Lemon and citrus oils. The citrus kind of dominates the flavors for me. Paired really well with the panzanella.

2004 Produttori del Barbaresco Riserva (and a few others) (Burnside Zupan's (Portland, OR)): Nice acidity, but very straight forward. Some lemon on the palate, but quite bitter. A good party wine, but not something I'd reach for... nor something I'd use to introduce Cru Barbarescos.
