IPNC Seminars (McMinnville OR): Tasting. mostly black fruit with meaty spice. Firm and assertive tannins to start, good length with greater nuance and balance in middle and finish. Good for its vintage and level.

Medium-full colour, a touch of blood to it. Classic, savoury, Beaune nose - a medicinal edge over soft cherry fruit. Ample and a little loose in the mouth, and with almost too much acidity. Firm tannins. Needs some time. 3
