  Still extraordinarily youthful, but beautiful and showing nicely. Medium-red, fairly cloudy (i.e., "unfiltered"-looking). Excellent range aromatically, from herbs to spices. Similar on the palate, with glimpses of great promise with a bit more time -- should round out and grow more elegant with even two to three additional years. Hold off trying again until its 10th birthday.

  Deep plum in color; superb on the nose is a perfume of spice, earth, olives, flowers and blackcurrents. On the palate, it is still high tannin, medium body. Should age a few years before drinking.
