  Ver nice dark thick purple colour with a touch of red brick rim. Ripe raisin nose, very ripe stewed fruit too, amorone-esque actually. Very fine tannins, light in their quantity, but maybe light for my taste. Good acid finish, and a relatively nice mouthfeel. I think a year or two ago it would have been ideal with slightly increased tannins.
