  • Crystal clear and pale green gold colour from home cellar at 18C . This wine has a classic Chablis nose of straw, lemon barley and touches of bush honey. The palate has lovely transparency and length with real Chablis grip and minerality. This is classic Chablis at 21years of age. The 97s appear to have escaped the dreaded premox cf the 96s.

  • Was a little tired and long in the tooth. The nose gave it away as an older wine.

  • This wine is clear with a medium - lemon color. The nose is clean and is developing medium intensity aromas of Asian pear, wisteria, almond , honey, and lemon creme. The palate is dry and shows medium body, medium + acid, medium EtOH, and medium intensity flavors of quince, Asian pear, mineral, flint, and dried apple. The finish is long with persistent acidity and a firm mineral presence. This wine is really delicious and is ready to enjoy, the acidity is really well integrated.
